It never ceases to amaze me that the God of the universe, the One who spoke the world into existence, the One who fashioned galaxies, who spun the earth with perfect synchronization, all unfathomable things to me, would love me, little me. LOVE ME! It's so wonderful to think about. How grateful I am for the love of God!

Our God Is Gracious
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children-- with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.

Grace Definitions
So how about some definitions for grace:
- the freely given, unmerited favor and love of God
- the influence or spirit of God operating in humans to regenerate or strengthen them
- the free and unmerited favor of God shown towards man
- the divine assistance and power given to man in spiritual rebirth and sanctification
- the condition of being favored or sanctified by God
- an unmerited gift, favor, etc., granted by God
- the exercise of love, kindness, mercy, favor; disposition to benefit or serve another; favor bestowed or privilege conferred
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5

Wondering about Grace
I wonder how different we would be if we could truly grasp the grace of our Savior. Would it change how we worship God? Would it change how we interact with our spouse, our children, our friends, our relatives, our acquaintances and even the people we don't know that we run into for a moment? Would it change how we see the world? I’m thinking it would change our lives radically. Join me as I seek to know the grace of God more.
